Дальнейшее изучение сакрального ландшафта и археологических памятников доевропейской Океании и сопоставительный анализ этих памятников с древностями других культур Старого Света может, по нашему мнению, пролить свет на происхождение и ранние стадии доисторического развития культурного ландшафта, культовой архитектуры, а возможно, и основ городского планирования в различных регионах Европы, Азии, Мезоамерики.
