The article is devoted to the study of the phenomenon of synonymy in the English term system of transport logistics. The factors affecting the appearance of terms-synonyms in the terminologies are analyzed. The basic groups of terms-synonyms are determined. The features of synonyms in the term system under consideration are examined. In conclusion the author presents the most productive model of synonyms functioning in the English language term system of transport logistics.
