Учета требуют также пол и семейный бэкграунд учащихся. В развитых странах правительства пытаются преодолеть социальное и региональное неравенство в предпринимательстве. Нами была выявлена слабая значимая связь между СПН и наличием собственного предприятия у родителей студентов. Можно предположить, что учащиеся из непредпринимательских семей, женщины и жители ресурсодефицитных регионов могут заметно выиграть от ПО. Для более качественной контекстуализации ПО необходимо дополнительное исследование зависимости СПН от семейного бэкграунда. Результаты недавнего Глобального обследования предпринимательского духа студентов (Global University Entrepreneurial Students' Spirit Survey, GUESSS) для тех, кто вовлечен и не вовлечен в ПО, дополнят картину с точки зрения преимуществ ПО на Украине, в других бывших советских республиках и в западных странах.

Правительства нуждаются в надежной информационной базе для принятия решений о распределении ресурсов для поддержки ПО. Результаты нашего поискового исследования свидетельствуют об отсутствии универсальных рецептов в данной области. Необходимо убедительно обосновать, что ПО, а также компетенции и знания, которые получают слушатели соответствующих программ, способны существенно повысить их СПН. Остается признать, что исследование, выполненное на материале выборки студентов - участников ПО в одном украинском регионе, не дает убедительных аргументов в пользу целесообразности более активной централизованной поддержки экосистемы ПО в ее текущем состоянии - с точки зрения содержания и форматов учебных курсов.
