Evaluative Potential of Zoonymic Concepts in English Phraseological Units
on the Example of Publicist Texts

The article tackles English phraseologisms, objectifying zoonymic concepts. The article studies evaluative components of phraseologisms expressed by means of the given concepts: evaluative features and types of evaluation. Phraseological units of zoonymic character are studied as elements of publicist discourse. The source of the research material serves the data taken from dictionaries and corpus of the English language.
